Vandaag was de tweede volle workshop over Live@EDU. In het MIC (Barneveld) heb ik voor ongeveer 30 personen vanmiddag een workshop gegeven over Live@EDU.

Echt een hele mooie webapplicatie genaamd Turning the Pages.Met deze applicatie kan je in de britse bibliotheek door oude boeken heen bladeren, zoals van Da Vinci.

TTP 2.0 can be configured to work online in a browser or offline, for example in touchscreen kiosks, using the same scans. As well as a cost-effective solution, this allows libraries and museums to gain a visitor attraction in-house, whilst at the same time using the reach of the internet to provide maximum exposure to collections. Vaak heb ik tijdens mijn Live@EDU presentaties over Live Mesh. Ik ben hier echt mega enthousiast over. Hieronder nog een artikel die goed uitlegd wat Mesh precies is:
Sync, share, and access the information you care about. Wherever you happen to be.www.mesh.comTegenwoordig zijn we op verschillende plekken aan het werk. Op verschillende apparaten. Maar we hebben vaak wel dezelfde documenten en programma’s nodig.
En ook een USB-stick hebben we niet altijd op zak. Mesh biedt hierbij een uitkomst. Via de online live desktop heb je altijd toegang tot je documenten waar je maar bent.
Dit is je persoonlijke desktop waar je 5 GB aan ruimte hebt om je documenten neer te zetten.
Installeer de mesh-software op je computer, mobiele telefoon en Mac en heb hierdoor altijd en overal toegang tot de documenten die je nodig hebt.
Je documenten worden automatisch gesynchroniseerd zodat je altijd de juiste versie hebt.
Nodig mensen uit zodat ze ook in jou Mesh kunnen om documenten te gebruiken. Je ziet via de Mesh Bar precies wat er allemaal in jou Mesh gebeurd.
Welke documenten zijn bewerkt, welke personen in welke mappen zijn geweest, wat voor commentaar je hebt gekregen op documenten etc.
