Microsoft Education Labs heeft vandaag een office add-on uitgebracht voor de integratie van Office met Moodle. Daarnaast is er ook een video uitgebracht, deze is hier te zien.
Education Labs announced today the release of two new resources for Moodle:
- Office Add-in for Moodle that provides educators an easy way to find, open, and save their Microsoft Office files housed in Moodle.
The Office Add-in works with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In addition to the “Open from Moodle” item that lets you open and edit documents directly from Moodle, it also adds a “Save to Moodle” option so you can save any document directly to Moodle without having to go through the web interface. - A whitepaper on how a Moodle administrator can configure Moodle to use SharePoint as the file system.
Using SharePoint as the file system for Moodle provides a number of benefits including document versioning, recovery of deleted files and integrated search capabilities.
