How to add a RSS Feed reader to a Sharepoint website

In the past week I've been trying to get my blog RSS feed onto my homepage  (which is running on Windows Sharepoint Services). After trying various Webparts build for this purpose I've found the ultimate one on Sig Weber's website: http://playground.doesntexist.org/.

Sig has got numerous really cool tools (including a Microsoft Knowledge base SmartTag for Office!) but the simplicity of his RSS Feed webpart struck me. After struggeling with STSADM.EXE and commandline options to install a webpart by Tim Heurer (Smiling Goat) and then getting the error “A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Web Part Page cannot be displayed or imported because it is not registered on this site as safe." sig solution was a true relief.

This might be because I am not a developer but when all I need to do is to drop two files in my website, open up one and link it to my RSS feed and it works, boy I'm happy!

Be sure to check out his website and all the tools he has available.
