Microsoft LYNC is the best UC product for the enterprise market. It touches almost every other Microsoft product, like SQL, Exchange Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2, Sharepoint etc. There are several moving parts in the environment and through this app the 15 most common communication points are captured; resulting in 225 possible combinations. Most of these 225 combinations are not that straight forward. Using this app, customers, consultants, architects, Solution Engineers can quickly figure out the protocol and port that needs to be open between any of the 225 possible communication paths in the LYNC environment.

In 2010, Microsoft launched the concept of The Hybrid Organisation. Working with experts from the fields of social change, workplace design, economics, technology and public sector development, Microsoft identified several characteristics of businesses and organisations that are best placed to thrive in uncertain times.
These ‘Hybrid’ organisations, we said, are those that combine the three elements of people, workplace and technology in equal measure. A successful organisation would be one that empowered its people to work in the way they would be most productive, allowing them to be measured by outputs – empowered through innovative and flexible workplace design and a range of technologies and tools that help them do their jobs more effectively.
Four papers were created, all which can be found on this site. While the papers generated some very interesting debate among experts and commentators – especially about the impact of changing workforce demographics and working styles – the notion of what exactly constituted a ‘Hybrid Organisation’ remained a subject for further discussion.

Als Lync (Voice) Solution Specialist bij Microsoft acteer je als trusted advisor voor onze enterprise-klanten waarbij je o.a. adviseert, stuurt en uitdaagt bij het ontwerpen en realiseren van Lync (Voice) oplossingen.
Je bent betrokken bij ieder aspect van de oplossing; van het analyseren van de business- en technologie- requirements, het ontwerpen van de oplossing en het introduceren van de oplossing in de organisatie. Je bent betrokken bij ieder aspect van de implementatie; van het analyseren van de business requirements, het configureren van de applicatie en het introduceren van de oplossing in de organisatie. In workshops werk je samen met stakeholders om requirements en processen te beschrijven. Vervolgens breng je diepe productkennis in en vergelijkt bedrijfsprocessen met standaard functionaliteit. Daarnaast denk je mee over de ontwikkeling van ons dienstenportfolio en stimuleer je collega’s binnen de hele organisatie om het beste uit zichzelf te halen.
